Camp De Mar has a fine selection of restaurants and is only 2 miles or so from Andratx, which is a thriving picturesque marina with fabulous shopping and eating available year round.

The property forms part of a small-gated development with 48 houses with landscaped gardens and 3 small swimming pools. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard including microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, air-conditioning, under floor heating.
South facing Terrace
Restaurant on the Jetty at Camp De Mar
The very large terraces with their uninterrupted views of the golf course and the hills behind are beautifully furnished and offer 3 different areas of seating being either South or West Facing.
Large light open plan lounge/diner/kitchen furnished in a neutral but luxurious style with two very comfortable sofas, coffee table, and CD/radio. Views onto the terraces with the golf course beyond.
Master Bedroom complete with fantastic 6-foot bed
Air-conditioning and heating throughout means comfort for all no matter the climate outside. There is also an open fire in the lounge for that little bit of extra atmosphere and comfort. Three double bedrooms, two with the option to convert to a twin. All bedrooms have excellent wardrobe space and comfortable beds and bedding supplied. The ground floor bedroom has the option to be used as a study with a desk etc for those that feel they must do some work.
The larger two bedrooms both have wonderful views over the golf course and the master bedroom has its own private terrace.
Three luxurious marble bathrooms two of which are ensuite and the one off the master bedroom has a bath as well as separate shower. Hot water is always available as it is on direct feed and requires no tank heating.
Camp de Mar - Andratx - Andraitx - the area
Camp de Mar, in the southwest of the island of Mallorca, is a small, exclusive beach resort with a fine sandy beach isolated from all main tourist areas. The hotels to be found here are predominantly 4 and 5-star rated and cater both for guests looking for an active holiday as well as those looking for a peaceful beach holiday.
The location combines all the advantages of a small resort with excellent facilities such as small supermarket, restaurants shops, cash machines and a 24 hours doctor’s surgery.
The scenery at Camp De Mar is beautiful particularly when viewed from the attractive beach bars, and charming seafood restaurants.
The airport is only a 30-minute drive away and the beautiful old and historic city of Palma a mere 20 minutes. Well worth the visit for the
Nearby Puerto de Andratx (3 km away) is an ideal place for a pleasant evening stroll and visit to one of the many restaurants that line the harbour. As always, eating in Spain can be done from early evening until very late, which leaves plenty of time to enjoy the fabulous shopping in Andratx. Those looking to sample a bit more of the typical family seaside resort can do so at Paguera (3 km away) where there is another long sandy beach.
If posing with the jet set is your thing then a visit to Porto Portals, 15 minutes by car, is a must as it boasts some of the most enormous yachts with a nightlife and people watching to match.
Golf Course and Club
Hole 5 is almost 500 metres and the next is over 600 metres and if that isn’t tough enough, it’s also uphill! Having eventually reached the green, the golfer then realizes that golf course architects are a real law unto themselves; left and right deep bunkers guard the green.
This, coupled with a beautiful waterfall left of the bunker and a severely sloping green make the hole a real challenge. For the aficionados amongst you this hole is the stroke index 1?
From the tee on the 8th hole, a par 4 of 405 metres, the golfer is provided with a breathtaking view of Camp de Mar and a backdrop to the Mediterranean sea.
A straight drive will gather speed on the downhill fairway making the second shot easier as the green is guarded by water to the left. The Mallorquin style Halfway House awaits the golfer on completion of hole 8 where a birdie or par makes the already fine tasting snacks even better.
Hole 14 (par 4) and hole 15 (par 3) seem quite basic by appearance but a slight deviation to the right or left is fatal. What they lack in length they have in precision.
The home hole is as befits the golf course, very spectacular. The Royal Dorint Hotel awaits the wild drive to the left and to the right; the highway cuts in at driving distance. Having tackled the drive, the second shot is even sweeter. Water and the clubhouse line the left side with the 19th hole adjacent to the green allowing the golfers who are finished to cast a knowledgeable eye over the players shooting at the green. Behind the green awaits a deep bunker catching all approach shots, which are overhit - underhit finds the water by the way. After the round the golfer is richer in experience but probably poorer in golf balls. Whatever the case, the golfer is sure to be attracted back to play again and once more do battle with the course. It goes without saying that handicaps and membership of clubs will be strictly checked. Two marshals patrol the course ensuring the pace of play is always acceptable. All players must have a buggy at a cost of 40 euros plus green fees of approx 70 euros along with water and all necessities expected at such a club. (NB.
