The apartment for rent is in the heart of Port D'Andraitx, in the south west of Mallorca. It affords spectacular views across the port and mountains beyond. Yet, it is only 45 minutes drive from the airport and 35 minutes from the centre of Palma.
Please note that note that this apartment is available for longer winter lets at a reduced rate.

Las Alcovas was built in a traditional Spanish style on a hill elevated over the port.
ACCOMMODATION FOR RENTAL
The lounge is air-conditioned with double doors opening onto the terrace, dinning table, sofas, music system, television, Satellite and DVD player.
The Kitchen is well fitted, including electric hob, microwave/grill, washing machine/drier, dishwasher, fridge. Kitchen window overlooks the Port with mountain views beyond.
Bedroom 1 is double bedroom with built-in wardrobes. Window overlooking terrace with shutters.
Bedroom 2 is double bedroom with built-in wardrobes. Window overlooking terrace with shutters.
A third room is normally used to store incidentals, however, by arrangement it can be converted with a bed to accommodate an extra person.
Bathroom with bath/shower and toilet.
Terrace is accessed through double doors and an abundance of tropical plants. Enjoy the spectacular views, dine 'al fresco' style or just soak up the sun.
NOTES ON ACCOMMODATION
The apartment is air-conditioned in the main area, which does cool the whole apartment. Each room is fitted with electric radiators making for comfortable all-year use.
76 sq m of living area with 71 sq m of terraces.
At the end of each stay there is a complimentary cleaning service. Fresh linen and towels are provided (including beach towels).
Parking at the rear of the property or in the very near area of the apartment.
THE AREA
Port D'Andraitx, as indeed the whole island, is a hive of activity in the summer months, dropping off slightly in the shoulder months to being quiet in winter. Port D'Andraitx is popular enough to allow shops, bars and restaurants to be opened throughout the year.
Port D'Andraitx offers excellent bistros, restaurants and shops only minutes walk from the apartment. The property is just far enough away to allow peace and tranquillity. There is a local fishing industry located in the Port and a large marina. Port D'Andraitx attracts a very cosmopolitan mix of people coming to an area that is truly a jewel in the Mediterranean.

car hire:Car hire is recommended for exploring the island and local area. There is a bus service between Port D'Andraitx to Palma and Palma to the airport. As the island is relatively small, most places can be reached by car in an hour or so.
